I know I haven’t been posting anymore caps of The Outsiders, Young Guns, etc anything with our beloved 80s actors! I currenty am computer-less until December so I hope you are all still willing to follow me by then :’> oh and I miss you guys btw <3
I’m not sure if many of you are aware of this, but the name Olivier is French, literally pronounced “Oliv-ee-ay”, rather than “Oliv-ur”. Just a thought that came up because I have a friend from France named Olivier :0)

I just want to say something about Olivier…again.
I do get upset when I see people hating on Olivier and think he’s pretentious because “he’s faking his accent.”
HE IS NOT FAKING ANYTHING.
I swear, this is the last time I’m going to explain anything about Olivier -.-
Olivier was born in Columbus, OH. He moved to Taiwan shortly after and was raised there until the age of 16. Then, he moved to London, and started school in Italy. Now, he is 22 years old and living in New York, NY as a contestant in Project Runway’s 9th season.
About his accent; being English myself, I know what a fake accent is straight away. You ever heard a white guy trying to imitate an Asian accent? Yeah, it is a pretty shitty imitation and it makes Asians sound like idiots. It’s the same thing when people try to imitate an English accent. “Would you fancy some tea and crumpets?” while trying to act like the Queen. Yeah, we don’t really do that, sorry to rain on your parade.
Anyway, Olivier does have an English dialect, but it’s also mixed with Italian, French, and Chinese.
Yes, that’s right: he’s trilingual.
Six years in the UK isn’t a long time, but it doesn’t take that long to start picking up the way people in England speak, honestly.
Maybe you think he’s faking his accent because he’s Asian and wow, Asians with English accents? Impossible. No, it is very possible. There are a lot of Asians in the UK.
Oh, and another thing you guys like to talk about: he’s faking his nice personality. Nah, not really. I mean, he even replied to me when I sent him a message on Facebook, and it was such a nice and sweet reply that there’s no denying that he could probably be one of the coolest friends you could ever have. :’)
